The requirements for thermal analysis instruments are increasing in terms of the measurement ranges and improving their accuracy due to development scientific technological progress field metrological supervision, chemical pharmaceutical industries. study determining melting point organic substances is particular relevance support applied traceability base units physical quantities. purpose research was test possibility using on basis sodium acetate methanesulfonate as phase transition temperatures standards candidate material certified reference materials (CRMs) traceable SI unit «temperature» value. procedure measuring (melting point) performed by differential scanning calorimetry an STA 449 F5 JUPITER analyzer from GET 173–2017 State Primary Standard. determination CRM value accordance with GOST ISO Guide 35–2015, contributions uncertainty heterogeneity starting were evaluated, short-term long-term stability studied. obtained characteristics investigated batch CRMs follows: range permissible anhydrous (328.35–330.35) °C, (352.05–354.05) °C. Comparison values developed presented IUPAC showed that consistent within ±1.4 theoretical significance results lies proof applying method (a set TPKR CRMs) GSO 11928–2022/GSO 11929–2022. practical makes it possible expand establishing controlling calibration dependence instruments; certification procedures (methods) control metals, metal salts, oxides, polymeric materials, inorganic substances.
